Two paths, one vision
Bart's Inspiration
Bart watched his girlfriend lose the joy of gifting to "tab fatigue," spending hours cross-referencing open tabs. He realized that while the internet offered infinite choices, it lacked the personal guidance to make sense of them.
Determined to fix this, Bart built ShopAssist as the knowledgeable assistant she was missing to simplify her search. Now, instead of second-guessing herself, she finds the perfect product in minutes, buying with total confidence and zero stress.
Tim's Insight
Tim saw his friends' eCommerce and DTC shops facing a crisis: social algorithms and AI search engines were making it harder to attract visitor traffic, while static storefronts failed to hold shoppers' attention. He knew the solution wasn't more ads, but better engagement with the shoppers already there.
He co-founded ShopAssist to give stores an interactive and personalised sales assistant that engages visitors instantly. Today, he helps merchants stop bleeding traffic and start turning casual browsers into happy, loyal buyers.
